This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what I believe in. I’m here to create work that matters, led by a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

I have always lived in the Midwest and enjoy being able to see for miles across rolling farmland. I now live on an old dairy farm with my husband and two sons, where I’m often listening for birds and using my Merlin app to identify new calls or watching my chickens and cats roam around our property. I love grabbing a blanket and finding a nice spot to read in when the sun is warm and the breeze is blowing through the tall trees on our property.

I have been reading books for fun since I was young, surrounded by books, with most of the adults in my life leading by example when they were passing books back and forth to each other. It’s only natural that I ended up teaching High School English, so I could pass on my love for good literature to my students. My house is full of books, but not just my own, since my boys love to read as well. Nothing makes me happier than cozying up on the coach and reading with them.

I also enjoy horseback riding(a casual hobby I picked up a few years ago) and traveling. It’s an amazing privilege to explore new places, despite my initial travel anxiety. Growing up visiting places in the United States gave me a more empathetic mindset, allowing me to see how other people live.

All of these experiences, both real and literary, have given me an appreciation for finding the beauty in our world, whether it be the millions of stars twinkling in the middle of the night to a perfectly written sentence that makes me stop to savor it. I hope to bring this perspective into our work together, where we can create our own little piece of beauty in the world.
